Hi, my name is Ruxin. I am a theatre designer based in London/Beijing.

 

My full-time passion is to find a personal narrative under a given script and interpret it with set and costume design. I am into topics eg mental world of individuals, reinterpretations of classics to make it relate to modern life, grand narratives that show the vulnerability of human society.

 

I am currently working on a speculative project named Nezha, which is inspired by a legend widely shared by ancient China and India. If you are fond of the story too please DM me and we can have a good chat about it!
